Description:

For our fifth project in partnership with the Di Maggio’s Restaurant Group, we undertook the design and installation of both mechanical and electrical systems as part of the restoration of the turn-of-the-century, grade A1-listed building, which previously housed the offices of the Anchor Line steamship company, into a magnificent dedication to its former grandeur. The Atlantic Restaurant is situated downstairs to one of our previous projects ‘The Anchorline’ on St. Vincent Place, just off Glasgow’s illustrious main shopping thoroughfare, Buchanan Street.

Works on the Atlantic Restaurant consisted of a full refurbishment, with the electrical works comprising the installation of new main switchboard and distribution boards, with containment installed to all necessary areas; general, emergency and feature lighting, small power & data sockets and cabling; and fire alarm, disabled alarm and security systems. Works included all associated mechanical wiring and earthing.

The mechanical works included the installation of a new foul drainage waste system, hot and cold water services including associated sanitaryware, separate heating and comfort cooling systems via a simultaneous VRV system, supply and extract ventilation systems, and gas supply for integration with the kitchen requirements.
